Here at In Vision we will do our best to take care of all your eye care needs. We have a variety of trial contact lenses in stock which means you will likely get a fresh new pair at the time of your examination. For anyone finding that their near vision is slipping and you just don't want to get those reading glasses, we have soft multifocal contact lenses to help. At In Vision we also fit contacts for people with astigmatism, allergies, and dry eye.
We also have a large selection of designer frames including styles from Lunor, RayBan, Kate Spade, DKNY, Maui Jim, Calvin Klein, Anne Klein, Armani Exchange, Nike, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Bebe, and many more.
For those of you who have children in need of correction we also perform pediatric eye exams and have styles such as Nike, Converse, Juicy Couture, Flexon, and Lucky Brand.
Facilities and Equipment
During the eye exam you will have retinal photos taken that will be kept on file for future comparison. You can see the photos and the doctor will explain exactly what you are looking at and what is being watched for. With this technology it may be possible to detect medical problems such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, high blood pressure, and others.
After your exam if you decide to order glasses with us we will use our VisiOffice to take precise measurements of your frame and pupillary distance. These measurements are precise to 0.01mm, allowing for unbelievably precise vision. You can also see various lens options and how they affect your vision (including anti-reflective coating, transitions, polarization, etc.). Lastly, if you are worried about how thick your lenses will be we can show you comparisons between plastic, polycarbonate, and hi-index lenses.
VisiOffice also measures heights for bifocals and progressive lenses. Taking these measurements allows us to fit the newest, most technologically advanced progressive lenses. We use the newest and most advanced progressive lenses available to give you edge-to-edge clarity without distortion or motion sickness problems.
You may have noticed the recent renovations in our office. In addition to a new exam room, we now offer Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). The OCT analyzes the nerve fiber layer on the retina to help monitor glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Heather Webster and Dr. Cord Linville are happy to possibly improve your quality of life after a stroke or concussions with prescription lenses. To set up an appointment, please call and let us know if you were referred to us by anyone for a brain injury! These appointments will take longer and we recommend that you have a driver.
