Your satisfaction with your glasses is important to us! If you ever need adjustments just stop in at any time, you don’t need an appointment!
Thank you for purchasing a pair of glasses from In Vision Eye Care Center! Here are a few things we think you should know about your top of the line glasses:
- If your glasses happen to break, please do not glue them back together. Glue voids your one year warranty on the frame and we want to help you out as much as possible! If you decide to tape your glasses, the glue from the tape must be easily removed. If the residue from the tape cannot be removed, it voids your warranty.
- When you purchase our glare-free lenses, you will receive a one year unconditional warranty. If you scratch your lenses within a year of when you purchased one of these products, we can remake your lenses for free.
- If you happen to completely lose your glasses, we cannot replace them. Your one year frame warranty only covers manufacture defects. If your dog chews them up, we cannot replace them.

Contacts Information
Please call to schedule your annual exam 2 weeks before you run out of your year supply of contacts!
Do:
Don’t:
Contact Lens Solutions and Cases
Do:
- Wash and Rinse your hands before handling your lenses
- Inspect your lens before putting it in your eye. Examine the contact to be sure that is clean and free of any nicks and tears.
- Remove your lenses immediately if you experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness of the eye or other problems and promptly contact InVision Eye Care Center at (573) 874-3937.
Don’t:
- Wear your lenses beyond the prescribed wear schedule, as serious complications may occur, including loss of vision.
- Expose contact lenses to any water. Exposing contact lenses to water may increase the risk of severe eye infection that could lead to vision loss or blindness.
- Wear someone else’s contact lenses.
Contact Lens Solutions and Cases
- Always use fresh lens care products and lenses before the expiration dates. Never re-use old solution. Contact lens solution must be changed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Never use saline solution and rewetting drops to disinfect lenses. Neither solution is an effective or approved disinfectant.
- Use only solutions recommended by the doctors and always follow the directions in the package inserts. Do not transfer contact lens solution from its original container to anything other than storage cases.
- Never re-use solution.
- Bacteria can grow in contact lens cases, so it is important to properly use, clean and replace your case every 1-3 months.
- Off-brand contact solutions are typically not as good at killing bacteria as named-brand. Sticking to the recommended name-brand solution by Dr. Webster is key to healthy eyes.
Why throw out your contacts? The more frequently you replace your contact lenses, the healthier and more comfortable your eyes can be. Protein, calcium, lipids and other substances found naturally in your tears can build up on your lenses. These deposits make your contacts less comfortable than when they were new, and can also make your eyes more prone to infection. Of course, lenses can be cleaned, but cleaning is not 100% effective. Some deposits will remain and continue to accumulate over time.
What to do if a problem occurs?
A serious condition such as corneal ulcer or eye infection may be present and may progress rapidly. Even less serious reactions such as a scratched cornea must be treated promptly to avoid more serious complications. If you experience a problem, immediately remove your contact lenses.
Do not wear your contact lenses longer than recommended by Dr. Webster, Dr. Andersen or Dr. Linville no matter how comfortable the lenses feel. Doing so increases the risk of adverse effects.
- Do not wear contact lenses for extended wear (24 hours a day, including during sleep), unless directed by Dr. Webster, Dr. Andersen, or Dr. Linville. Studies have shown that overnight wear of contact lenses increase the risk of certain serious contact lens related complications. The risk increases with the number of days in a row that lenses are worn between removals, beginning with the first overnight use.
- Serious injury to the eye, scarring of the cornea, and loss of vision may result from problems associated with wearing contact lenses and using lens care products.
- Eye problems, including corneal ulcers can develop rapidly and lead to loss of vision. Immediately remove contact lenses and call our office if persistent symptoms of any eye discomfort or redness occurs.
